The hit Square-Enix DS RPG, The World Ends With You, will be available on the iPhone and iPad. The World Ends With You: Solo Remix will include several new features, such as redrawn HD graphics, Twitter implementation, and mini games during battles that can help you deal with enemies more efficiently. In addition, both Neku and his partner (which will now be AI-controlled) will be on the same screen (in the DS version, you could control Neku on the bottom screen, with his partner on the top).
The World Ends With You: Solo Remix will hit the App Store on August 27 for the iPhone and iPad. The iPhone version will cost a hefty $17.99, while the iPad version will cost an even heftier $19.99. Check out the game’s official website here (you may want to turn the volume down before entering).
