Square Enix has a long history of RPGs dating all the way back to the NES. The most notable of these is obviously Final Fantasy, a series which persists down to this day. However, there were also a number of lesser known ones such as the Tactics Ogre franchise. Should you have never played the original game in that series, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together you'll have a chance to in a couple of months as Square Enix has announced a released date for the PSP remake of that title.
The remake is slated for a February 15th release next year and will bring the game to PSP gamers with a newly updated battle system and an updated storyline. The original development team will also be part of the process and will add in new gameplay elements which allow players to rewind time and battles to change the path of the story. Additionally, RPG fans who pre-order the title from GameStop, EB Games Canada, Amazon.com or Amazon.ca will receive a deck of specially designed tarot cards.
