In a video game landscape which occasionally seems devoid of innovation, EA may have just what the doctor ordered with the just announced MicroBot.
Microbot will be a downloadable title which will be made available to gamers on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 in Winter 2011. In it, players will take control of a microbot that must be piloted through the human body in order to defeat a "biotechnical infestation". In addition to the ability to upgrade your ship throughout the game, MicroBot will also present players with levels which are both dynamically created and constantly changing.
As a result, new challenges will be continually posed to the player as the "rhythms and fluids of the human body create a dynamic environment that affects movement and gameplay". What's more, because levels are dynamically created, no two playthroughs will ever be the same. Some of these features seem pretty interesting, so hopefully more information will be coming out before the game releases sometime next year.
