Back in April, Shinji Hashimoto, producer of the Final Fantasy series, tweeted that it was unlikely that we would see Final Fantasy V or VI on the Nintendo DS, citing "technical issues". Well, it appears that not all hope is dead for fans of the SNES FF titles.
In an interview with Siliconera, Hashimoto-san stated that although “No decision has been made" regarding Final Fantasy V and VI on the 3DS, Square will "take a look to see how 3DS does, how it evolves, and then make a decision" (although a DS version is definitely off the table). We'll keep you posted on this story, and everything else related to the 3DS as it develops.
