Once again, the Internet has shed a little more light on a tragedy in our country. Jackass star Ryan Dunn passed away last night in a fiery car crash that was, on the surface, due to speeding. Skidding was apparently involved in the early morning crash. But on Twitter, hours before, Dunn tweeted this picture of he and some friends with presumably alcoholic drinks at a bar. But unfortunately, that's not where the story ends. Roger Ebert didn't let it.
Ebert tweeted later on in the day that "Friends don't let Jackasses drink and drive." Now is this being taken completely out of proportion? Of course it is. He didn't mean anything bad by it. Because guess what? If you let your friends drive drunk, you're an actual Jackass as opposed to someone who's famous for sticking a car up his rectum. Ebert's being taken down just for being kind of clever. People should just get over it. They're letting this overshadow Dunn's tragic death.
