Apple WWDC: Twitter Social Network of iDevices

Twitter is being built into Apple’s upcoming iOS 5, therefore essentially naming it as the default social network of Apple’s iDevices over Facebook and any other competitors. By trying to make it easier for users to use Twitter over the iPad 2, iPhone and iPod Touch, Apple is pretty much ending Tweetdeck and other alternative apps and declaring Twitter king over Facebook of iOS. And since they’re Apple, they can do this kind of thing.

“We hear from a lot of our customers on iPhone, and iPad and iPod Touch that they love Twitter, so we want to make it even easier for all of our customers to use Twitter on iOS products,” Apple’s Scott Forstall declared during the WWDC 2011 keynote.

You’ll be able to directly use iOS 5’s apps such as camera and mail and Safari to directly send a link or picture to Twitter and all of your followers. It’s never been easier to use any social network in a mobile fashion than with what Apple’s doing for this Fall’s update.

Twitter’s going to be extremely easy supposedly and because it’s Apple and Steve Jobs, I believe them. I can’t wait to use Twitter when the update hits later this year.
