Google rolls out Person Finder tool after Japan earthquake

David Liu March 11, 2011 0

In the wake of the earthquake/tsunami one-two that hit the coast of japan today, Google has created a simple, easy-to-use, effective tool for all those whose families or friends might have been affected. Those looking for news regarding a specific person can look them up by name. There's not too many names in the database as of yet, but knowing Google's near omniscience, the number should increase dramatically as fast as reports come in. Good going, Google, this is the kind of action we need from you.
