Daily Gaming Update: January 6th

jmaltz@pnosker.com January 7, 2011 0

Now that CES press day has come and gone without much relevant happening to us gamers, we're left to take a look at some of the upcoming titles.  Thankfully there's some juicy information for Mega Man fans, another Homefront developer diary, and even something for the EA Play lover in all of us.

Microsoft seems to be loving the multi-week promotions as of late.  After their Keynote at CES yesterday, the software mega-company announced that they will be throwing an XBLA House Party for five weeks.

There will not be any red solo cups or kegs starting February 16th, but there will be five games released to Xbox Live Arcade players.  The promotion will start with Konami's Hard Corps Uprising on the 16th and will then follow with Beyond Good and Evil HD, Torchlight, Bejewled Blitz Live, and Full House Poker in an as yet unannounced order.

We'll be attending an Xbox LIVE Arcade Event tomorrow as part of CES, so we'll get you the rundown on all the games that are taking part in the XBLA House Party.
