If you're not a fan of the thumbstick layout on your classic Dualshock 3, Nyko may have the solution for you.  Today they launched their line of Raven controllers, designed to give players another option for how their controls are placed.  The Raven comes in two configurations: standard and alternate.  Both will feature a soft grip, lithium-ion batteries, rumble features and six-axis controls.  The one difference will be how the thumbsticks are positioned.  The standard, shown below, looks quite similar to the classic Dualshock.

However, there is also an alternate configuration that flips the left stick and the d-pad, layinng out the controller very similar to what is seen on the Xbox 360.

Additionally, both versions of the controller will give you the option to switch the trigger buttons (R1/L1) with the bumpers (L2/R2).  Should you want to get yourself a Raven they are available at both Gamestop and Amazon now.

[Nyko Raven]-$39.99(Standard Configuration) or $39.99(Alternate Configuration)

The latest title in EA's Fight Night series looks to inject some personality into a set of games which have always had the necessary gameplay elements.  A big part of that is the new Champion mode, in which you will have to guide your fighter to the top of the ranks.  Setting the tone for this mode are two new trailers about exactly what it takes to be a champion.

Fight Night Champion will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360 sometime in 2011.
