Today Ubisoft announced that Housemarque, the creators of Super Stardust HD, are working on a new game inspiried by the adventure titles of yore.
The game, titled Outland, mixes classic 2D swordplay and platforming with the light and darkness of Ikaruga. As players attempt to avoid traps and clear gaps, they will be forced to move back and forth betwee the worlds of ligh and darkness. Outland will release in early 2011 via the XBLA and PSN.
