Believe it or not– Google removes around a million links a month. Roughly half of those links are because Microsoft reports a link as hosting copyright infringing software.
The second most reporting company is the British Phonographic Industry followed by NBCUniversal, Takedown Piracy LLC and DtecNet. Interestingly, the company with the fourth most copyrighted works is Elegant Angel, a pornography company.
As you might expect, filestube.com, torrentz.eu, and 4shared.com are the top 3 content hosts.
