Microsoft posted on their Facebook careers page yesterday that they are now seeking a Design Verification Engineer for the Interactive Entertainment Business – Xbox division. The description states:
"We are looking for a senior candidate that will be part of the core verification team that handles pre- and post-silicon verification for the Xbox group.
He or she will participate in the creation of environment(s) to verify internally developed XBOX IP from definition to silicon validation. The candidate will be responsible for defining and executing unit-level simulation test plans which are portable to chip and emulation environments. A good foundation in verification methodologies, Verilog, OVM and C/C++ is required. Experience in architecture, graphics verification, silicon validation, and the IP development process from definition to gates is a plus."
Could it be that they have a few prototypes ready for testing of the next generation Xbox? More details can be found here.
