Starting off with some gritty screenshots from a new Rockstar game and finishing with one of the absolute strangest controllers, here is your daily new for everyone from old-school gamers to MMO nuts.

New screenshots of Rockstar's next big game, L.A Noire (developed by Team Bondi), impress with stunningly realistic facial detail. The ability to capture such detail comes from a new technology named MotionScan which allows for an extremely accurate capturing of an actor's face including the expressing of emotion. The makers of MotionScan, Depth Analysis, use 32 high-definition cameras to surround the actor and capture every subtle detail in 3D at 30 FPS.

L.A. Noire features a 1940's crime story that plays out by figuring out the truth behind some ghastly murders. Utilizing MotionScan with over 400 actors, L.A. Noire is sure to impress with the visuals come Spring 2011.

It sort of looks like a PS3 controller…sort of. A strange little controller has emerged on the gaming store GamingZap.com. Apparently, thanks to massive success, GamingZap has secured more of these crazy controllers.

The controller itself is inteneded to replace a stearing wheel and pedals. The center of the controller also features a digital readout that informs you of how much pressure you are applying to the throttle. If you love racing games but hate using traditional controllers, this may be jsut what you're looking for.
