Relax with a fun new indie RPG or rock out with some classic Johnny Cash. Featuring a new MMO trailer, some new Rock Band 3 DLC, and an awesome new indie release, its time for the Daily Digest.

 

Proud member of the Indie Game Winter Uprising, Cthulhu Saves the World is a classic turn-based RPG that features the ability to play as everyone's favorite creature Cthuhu. Core Blaze is a fast paced, 3D MMORPG developed with the Unreal Engine 3. First announced at the 2010 Tokyo Game Show (TGS), the new trailer shows Core Blazes four main weapon types.

This interesting action MMO could prove to be quite fun. It is scheduled to be completed by the second half of 2011.

Fans of the Man in Black rejoice because Rock Band 3 is getting Johnny Cash songs DLC with 8 classic tracks. The songs are: “Cry, Cry, Cry”, “Don’t Take Your Guns to Town”, “Five Feet High and Rising”, “Folsom Prison Blues”, “I Got Stripes”, “I Walk the Line”, “Tennessee Flat Top Box”, and “The Ballad of Ira Hayes.” Also, on January 4th, 9 songs featured in previous Rock Band titles will be released for free!! Rock Band 3 features 800 artists and more than 2,000 tracks. Both DLC packs will be available on January 4th with the Johnny Cash pack releasing on Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation 3 and the free pack releasing on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
