Some of the most costly mistakes in history were caused by simple errors. Rounding errors, conversion errors, and even neglecting a minor variable have caused many major projects to fail. A prime example of this is the Mars Climate Orbiter. The Australian site PC Authority covers the top 10 mistakes caused by errors in the history of technology.
