Pre-sales for iPhone 4S in 22 Countries, Oct. 28 release date

The iPhone 4S, which a record success of over 4 Million sales in its first week, is now accepting pre-orders in 22 new countries. iPhone veterans and virgins alike in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland can all pre-order the Phone 4S. Apple will be releasing both the white and black models for the 16 GB, 32GB or 64GB iPhone 4S.

But this roll out does come with a “hiccup,” so to speak. Seeing such a large demand for the iPhone 4S in the US last week means that online shoppers abroad may need to wait a few weeks before they can actually upgrade.  It might take some shoppers as much as 2 weeks to receive their phones, 1 week after the in-store sales start on October 28th.

Still on the fence about an upgrade? Check out our earlier articles on the iPhone 4S and iOS 5.
