It's that time of year again. In only a week, the NCAA Football 12 demo from EA Sports will finally be released. While it's being released a few weeks later than usual, the game still looks promising even if it was pulled off the E3 2011 floor. But since it was only available behind closed doors, this will be our first look at NCAA 12 and we're excited.
While the general details have been know (it will involve four teams and you'll have the ability to unlock Nike Pro Combat jerseys for the full game), we finally have news of the full framework of the game. The two matchups, which must have been chosen based off Pro Combat involvement since they make no sense are Oregon at Texas and Alabama at Florida State. EA probably also wants to show off the new home intros that have been added after the feature was first fully introduced last year. You'll see Florida St.'s Seminole riding in to midfield before jamming down his spear into the logo. We've all been wanting these features in these games for a while, and hopefully EA delivered.
In terms of gameplay, we don't know very much yet but EA will be monitoring the demo in order to get out a prerelease tuner update, similar to what Fight Night Champion had.
The EA Sports NCAA 12 demo will be released for the Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 on June 28th.
