Just as the world was awed by Apple's thinnest tablet claim, Samsung pulls off a fast one with their new Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1. How long did they spend engineering this thing to shrink it even more?
The new Galaxy Tabs are much thinner than the Motorola Xoom at 8.6mm thin. The 16GB Galaxy Tab 8.9 will sell for $469 with the 32GB variant at $569. Add another $30 for the 10.1.
Specifications put the new tablets with the iPad 2 with similar processors, wireless support, and disk space. They do come with better cameras than the iPad 2 however which is always nice to see. Let's see if Android can pull this one off.
