If you're a person who has rooted your Android phone then this isn't much excitement for you, but the people over at TechCrunch report that Android 2.2 (aka Froyo) will have USB and WiFi tethering built in! There is no word on if carrier's will be hindering this ability (it's unfortunate this is even a worry). I'm sure we'll be learning much more about Froyo at Google's I/O Conference next week.
